About Remote Nursing Made Simple

About Me & My Story

A journey from burnout to purpose

I'm a nurse who made the transition from bedside to remote work, and I'm here to help you do the same. This is my story—and how I can help you write yours.

1

Where It All Began

Like many nurses, I started my career with passion and dedication. I dreamed of making a difference, of being there for patients when they needed care most. The hospital became my second home, and I poured everything I had into my work.

2

The Hospital Years

Years of 12-hour shifts, missed family dinners, and constant physical strain began to take their toll. I watched colleagues burn out, leave the profession, or struggle with their health. The work was meaningful, but the cost was becoming too high.

3

The Breaking Point

There came a moment when I realized I couldn't continue this way. My body was breaking down, my relationships were suffering, and the joy I once found in nursing was fading. I knew something had to change, but I didn't know how.

4

The Turning Point

That's when I discovered remote nursing opportunities. At first, I was skeptical—could I really be a nurse without being at the bedside? But as I explored, I found a whole world of possibilities: case management, telehealth, utilization review, and more.

5

Finding a New Path

The transition wasn't easy. I had to learn new skills, update my resume, and navigate a different job market. But with the right resources and support, I made the leap. Today, I work from home, have time for my family, and still get to be a nurse—on my own terms.
